Hello, everyone! Today, I am starting a 7-day photo essay. This is the first picture I took. This picture is the view of KMLA. It is green and blue. There are many trees and 2 buildings-C building and D building. The building has Korean traditional roof-called Kiwa. This building is made with a blue roof. The blue roof is called Chung Kiwa. Chung means blue. I took this picture because I want to remember it and I feel relaxation when I see it. I really like this picture because it's wide and clear to see. Plus, the green background makes me calm. Also, I think I can remember KMLA when I grown up and see this, because it's the overall view. In addition, I will remember some memories I have here in the future. I will remember some friends and good teachers I met at this global leadership camp. I will make a good picture for 7 days in order to remember here. I hope you enjoyed the picture!
Anne, Ally, and Henry walked through the Whale city. Then, Anne shouted. "Look! Ally! Henry! Look! It's a road sign." Ally's eyes got bigger and bigger. Henry ran to the sign, shouting." What does it say?" Henry asked. Anne replied. "It says go follow the blue road. Go straight and turn to the right at the forked road. Go through the Shrimp city- distance: 2 kilometers to Aqua city. Wow! Only 2 kilometers! Let's go!" Henry said with a big grin. They went through the Shrimp city. Then, suddenly, there was a big wall toward them. A police came to them. " What are you looking for, young ladies and gentleman? Can I help you?" Anne replied. " Yes, please. we are looking for the way to go to Aqua city." Police answered. "This is a door. If you go out, you can see the Aqua city. I't only about 10 minutes from here. Here, let me open the door. " Henry bowed. "Thanks for help!" They opened the door and find the Aqua city. They came back home and decided to never leave home.
<Cliffhanger> Ally, Henry, and Anne was finally home, through Whale city, and Shrimp city. They decided to play, to celebrate-they are back. "Let's go! Let's celebrate that we came home safe." Ally shouted with a grin, running to the Waterworld Amusement park. Henry smiled with excitement. "All right! Let's ride a watercoaster! We are going to ride a watercoaster!" "How FUN! Yoo hoo!" Anne shouted, too. Then, suddenly, the big tornado is coming to them. It was crashing and throwing all the things in the city. Suddenly, Ally, Henry, and Anne felt their body is in the air. They are at 500 feet on the ground. Tornado was moving to the Turtle city. Ally thought.'Oh no, not again! I don't wanna get lost!'
< SAD ENDING > They walked through the Whale city. They are walking dark, narrow road. Suddenly, they heard a strange, low voice. "Hey kids. Where are you going? Do you have some money?" Ally's face became white. "We are not supposed to talk to strangers. And I don't have any money. " Actually, Ally has money-1 dollar and 50 cents. She hope they can't recognize. The gangster said, "Oh, really? I didn't know that. But, I can't let you go through. Hey you, little boy. Do YOU have some money? No? Then, you can't go. Hey, you little girl. I know you. I have seen you hundreds of times. You are LOST, right? So, do YOU have some money? No? Then, you can't go, too. So, give me the money. Or, you can stay here." Ally put her hand into the pocket, and gave the gangster 1 dollar. "Here. For all of us. Now, let us go." But, the gangster said, "You LIED to me? Oh, such a bad girl. I'm sorry, but you can't go. But, I will accept your donation-1 dollar. Hahahaha~!" Ally, Henry, and Anne got trapped. They can't go home.
< Lost in a Sea> This is 2050, when the smart technique is at its peak. Humans can go anywhere without any equipment: underwater, in the sky, anywhere. The cities are both in the land, underwater, and in the sky. Well, there was a girl, full of excitement to adventure, living in the underwater city, Aqua. Her name was Ally.
"Com'on! Let's go out!" Ally yelled to her brother, Henry. "Don't run! You have to take care of yourself. And come home until 6'o clock!" Mom yelled behind her. "Okay, mom! Ally! I'm stuck!" Henry shouted, stuck in the rock.
Ally run and picked Henry up. "Phew. That really was a good job, huh?" "I'm sorry. I can't manage it." Henry said with a disappointed face. "Well, never mind. Let's go outside!" She opened the door of the Aqua city. It was the first time she went outside the city without parents. "Wow..." Ally said. "Awesome!" Henry shouted, running to outside. Ally followed him. "Where should we go first? Seaworld? " Henry said with jolly. "No..." Ally said, staring something. "What?" Henry looked up. He stared at something. Ally said," Marin city... I always wanted to go there." Henry said, "But that city is too big. Don't you heard a story about Anne who went to Marin city and got lost? It's too dangerous." "I don't care. It's the only chance to go there. I'll go." Ally said, walking to the gate of Marin city."Okay..." Henry said, following her. Ally opened the gate slowly.
"Ahh!" They shouted. "Oww." They said. " Where am I?" Ally said. "I don't know. I'm scared. It's dark, and cold." Henry said. "Look! There is a light. That means we can go out." Ally ran to the light. Henry followed her. Suddenly, it became bright. "Look! There's a police! We can ask him, the way to home!" Ally shouted, running to the police. Ally asked, "Excuse me, sir. What is the way to Aqua city?" "Aqua city?", said police officer. "Hmm... Wait a minute. I don't know exactly, but I think you can follow the blue road." "Okay. Thank you!" Henry bowed at him. "Let's go! To the Aqua city!" Ally shouted, walking at the blue road. During the way to Aqua city, there was a Whale city. "Look! It's the Whale city! We're almost near! Yeah!" "Are you going to the Aqua city?" The strange voice came near Ally. "Who is it?" Ally said. "I'm from Aqua city, too. You may heard of me. My name is Anne." "Really?" Henry said. Have you ever seen the movie, 'The Wizard of OZ'? It's a quite old movie, made in 1939. I hove everyone tried the book, 'The Wizard of OZ'. It's a classic fantasy movie, with interesting stories. Let me introduce the plot about it.
The main character, Dorothy is a little girl living in Kansas. One day, she met a tornado and move to Munchkin Land. In there, she met Glinda, the Witch of the South. Dorothy asked the way to go to Emerald city to meet the Wizard of OZ, and Glinda replied that she can follow the big yellow road. During the journal, she met a Scarecrow, who need a brain. She also met a Tinman,who need a heart. Finally, she met a Lion, who need courage to be brave. At last, Dorothy and her friends arrived at the Emerald City. They get a task from the Wizard of OZ to kill the witch of the west. She accomplished the task, and came back to Wizard of Oz. But, Dorothy's dog, Toto found that the Wizard of Oz is not a wizard. He tried to make the Dorothy's wish come true by flying on a big balloon, but Dorothy can't get on. However, Dorothy went home by the Ruby shoes, which was belong to the witch of the East, who is Dorothy killed when she came to Munchkin Land.
I liked the movie because it was classic and I can compare the book. Also, I like the song that Dorothy sang,'Somewhere over the rainbow. I like the idea that author made that Kansas and Munchkin Land to different colors, to symbolize the poverty and happiness. I hope you see this movie too!
Hello, everyone! I'm Amber big.Today, many peoples are trying for 30-day challenges. Well, there are 3 things I want to achieve. My first goal is to write a 3000-words novel. Because, I want to publish books in the future. One day, I want to write a story of my life. It is attainable because I'm interested, and I would love it. It will also fit on time because I will just write 100 words each day.
My next goal is to read 30 long books-not novels. Because, I read too much novels- I don't have much knowledge about other subjects. So, I want to get much information about various subjects.
My final goal is reduce sugary foods. Because sugar is an obstacle to children's growth, I want to grow more! Also, too much sugar causes diabetes, too. So, I will reduce it in one a week, I will eat sugary food. It will be attainable because I know sugar isn't good for my health. Even it's only 30-day challenge, I hope this will help me to get healthy in my mind. I will feel accomplishment when I finished this. How about trying 30-day challenge for your fresh mind?
